Paul Gibbs formed Wisbech Engineering in 1973 to produce high quality stainless steel machinery and components. By 1981 it had become apparent that Paul's interest in street rods had grown and become catalyst for Wisbech Engineering as we know it to be born. Paul continued to run the business with wife Sheila until 2003 when sons Mark and Jamie followed in their footsteps with their passion for street rods and engineering in general.

Jamie left the business in 2013 to pursue an alternative career, Mark and wife Charlotte continued to run the business.

​

Today our team comprises of Mark, his wife Charlotte, Euan and Jack - our full time engineers and Nathan our part time trainee.​

In the workshop today we continue to build high quality street rods and components alongside custom cars, race cars, motorcycles and many other engineering-based work.

​

We have added to our facilities as well as updating areas to improve and diversify the services that we can offer.

​

In our shop we keep a good stock of components for example shock absorbers, urethane bushes, engine mounts to name but a few that can be purchased via mail order or dropping into our shop near Kings Lynn.
